This popular little jingle was used by Apple (AAPL) to kick off their Friday morning press conference before they explained that Antennagate is not simply an iPhone issue, but an issue that supposedly plagues all manner of smartphones currently available on the market. Steve says “we happened to come across this last night, and we thought you might like it.” Umm, maybe – but I’m thinking the guy got his palm greased to come up with a viral video that would make apple come out shining while dismissing any possibility of an issue with the hardware. I think it’s a funny little song nonetheless and certainly the message rings true of the media tearing down successful products and companies once they become ubiquitous, and in case you missed it, here it is:
